A wedding at Schloss Philippsruhe – simple, elegant and timeless. The historic setting of the castle provided the perfect backdrop for a modern wedding concept that combined classic elegance with a serene and stylish atmosphere.
Clear details, a subtle color palette and high-quality elements emphasized the special character of this day and allowed the beauty of the location to shine through.
The wedding brought together family and friends from Australia and Germany, bringing different cultures and guests from all over the world together in one place. The civil ceremony took place in the garden of Schloss Philippsruhe and was subsequently celebrated with a joint reception.
At the end of September, the weather surprisingly turned summery – temperatures reached up to 30 degrees Celsius, creating an almost Mediterranean atmosphere amidst the historic castle setting. In the evening, the celebration moved into the elegant White Hall of the castle, where a stylish dinner was served, before the wedding party celebrated together until late into the night.
In keeping with the simple and elegant concept, the couple chose a discreet two-story wedding cake, complemented by a small Gugelhupf as a personal and cozy addition.
The floristry was also deliberately restrained and timeless. The flower arrangements were kept entirely in soft cream tones and harmoniously emphasized the elegant atmosphere of the wedding.
